Account Settings Panels

First Step

1st Step

Head over to your mailbox settings panel. Links to both the “” & “” accounts panels can be found above. Fill in your Username (that’s your email address).

Just fill in the first part of your address here. Take note of the preloaded second part of your email address. If your account is a “” one then that is what will appear here in the Log In screen. Then fill in your temporary password. This was sent to your existing email address when signing up for your subscription.

2nd Step

This first thing you should do once in the settings panel is change the temporary password you were assigned when subscribing to the service. In here you will also see the “Email Client Configuration” settings. That is actually what we are covering here now so you don’t need to worry yourself over that section.

Once you have saved your settings within the mailbox settings panel lets go into your Android device and set up your new email account.

Making sure you are in Settings > General,  tap on the “Accounts” button.

7th Step

The next screen will present you with an option of either iMAP or POP. Without going into the intricaci
es of both flavours of email accounts let’s just say we recommend you use the IMAP system, (your account is both types). In short, with IMAP you can receive and read your email on multiple devices including laptops, smart phones, tablets, desktop computers etc more than once. You can even jump on a friends computer when out and about and check your email. With POP once an email is read it is removed from the servers and will not appear elsewhere. Most people recommend you use IMAP.

8th Step

Here we need to fill in our details for the Incoming Server. For “whu@email” accounts the IMAP Server is “”.

For people with “” accounts the IMAP Server is “”

Eighth Step
Ninth Step

9th Step

Scrolling down we can see that the Mail Server settings need to be entered again.

10th Step

When you get to the Outgoing server settings the details are the same. “” for “” addresses and “” for those with “” addresses.

Also the username needs to be your full email address.

Tenth Step
Eleventh Step

11th Step

In your Account Options screen you can configure your device to handle your email account exactly how you would for any other email account.

12th Step

Almost done. This screen gives you the option of giving your account a specific description in order for you to differentiate it from other accounts on your Android device. It’s also where you set the name that others see when opening email from this account.
